Choose the Best Prom Dress For You!

1. COLOR

a) Compliment your skin tone:

• If you have light skin: go for silver, violet, ivory, aqua, or peach. 

• If you have medium skin: go for purple, pink, red, navy, or green. 

• If you have dark skin: go for turquoise, orange, blue, fuchsia, golden, or forest. 

b) It has to be different from your hair color (if you plan on having your hair down it will look too much of the same color) 

2. LENGTH

•If you are short: go for long dresses that will give the illusion of longer legs. 

•If you are tall: go for high low dresses that will compliment your height.

3. DECOR

• Small back or shoulders: choose decor on the straps, back, or shoulders. 

• Wide back or shoulders: choose decor at the waist or bottom to give a proportionate look. 

• Small bust: Decor on top. 

• Large bust: Decor at waist or bottom. 

4. STRAPS!

If you ar planning on wearing a strapless dress, make shure that it doesnt slide down by jumping and walking around the dressing room. 

5. COMFORT

• Pick a dress that best suits your body, that you like, and that you feel most comfortable in because all these aspects will affect your confidence level.

Italianissimo Trattoria Restaurant

Melanzane Parmigiana: $13.95

Baked Eggplant with tomato sauce, parmesan, and melted mozzarella cheese.

Like every other Italian restaurant, they had bread as appetizers, accompanied with balsamic vinegar and olive oil. I have to confess, that has been my addiction since I was little. It is funny because a few years ago, I ate so many bread slices dipped in wine vinegar that it made me sooo hyper, I stopped eating it for a while, lol.

I ordered the Melanzane Parmigiana, it was actually the first time that I tried this. I ordered it because I wanted to try something new, since it was my first time in this restaurant.  It was not heavy at all, even though it had a lot of cheese (which makes it so, so good). My mom ordered the second plate, the Cioppino Mamma Rosa. It looked really good, and I'm guessing it was because she almost finished it completely! 

Overall Italianissimo Trattoria was great. The waiter was really attentive and fast, our food was served really quickly, and the chef even greeted us and checked if we were doing fine. I definitely enjoyed my lunch with so many attentions ;)

Do you have a long dress with gorgeous tropical prints on it, and can't seem to be able to wear it because you don't have long legs and it doesn't seem flattering on your legs? Well, here's the solution; tuck it in your favourite skater skirt, or any other bottoms that'll match your dress, and show off your legs. I know it is difficult to think about ways to style a long dress when you don't have as much height because they make you look shorter, and worst of all your legs look even shorter; but if you use that printed, gorgeous dress as a top, you will be able to use it more frequently.

I think the weather is finally catching up. I am so happy it's finally getting warmer because the weather has been a little crazy around here...

I am wearing a Motel Rocks muscle tee that i purchased from Plndr, high waisted shorts from Charlotte Russe, and sunglasses from SheInside. Originally, I wanted to wear my top with a coral skater skirt from Motel Rocks, but it's too big on me. I got it in size small but I guess I needed to get an extra small one.  So I'm planning on getting it fixed somehow, or maybe I'll just sell it or I don't know because I really like it. :(

I've been looking everywhere for skater skirts online but their smallest size is still too big. They usually don't sell extra small skater skirts, and that's what I need!! I am so obsessed with them but it's so sad that I can't find any in my size. I've looked around in different clothing stores, but they are usually out of small sizes and full of large ones -.- sigh...
